I’m a business coach with a passion for helping companies optimize productivity by building cultures that support productivity at the foundation. The Human Factor, LLC solves the human factor in your business equation.
Background
I’ve led in manufacturing, medicine, and service industries — domestically and internationally. My work spans outplacement and transition, executive coaching, culture coaching, and strategic human capital management. I’ve spent more than 35,000 hours in coaching conversations and was trained by the fourth largest international career management company. I hold executive career coach certification (CECC), SPHR (senior human resource designation), and training in crisis management, brain science, Emotional Intelligence™, and emergency medicine.
I opened The Human Factor, LLC in 2015 when I realized that, if I was going to deliver outplacement the right way, I needed to work independently and without the pressure to fit every transition into someone else’s template.
What drives the work
I’m an operations and leadership coach, a lifelong science geek, nutrition guru, and self proclaimed brain science and psychological health enthusiast. My B.S. is in Business Administration, with certifications in coaching, emergency medicine, and senior human resource management.
Behind the credentials: I believe most business problems get the wrong diagnosis. Strategy gets blamed. Tools get blamed. “The wrong people” get blamed. Usually the real failure point is sitting between how the brain processes change and how the organization is asking it to. That’s the gap my work closes.
Beyond the office
I’m “Mom” to a remarkable human being — a dedicated ER nurse — and I’m “Nonna” (Italian for grandmother) to her beautiful son. At long last, I found my heartmate and life partner. We share a home full of love and safety for ourselves, our children, and our cherished family-of-choice friends.
